Before we start...

Before you make an offer, please make sure that you have performed the essential steps of setting up the program!

 Choice between "accessories" and "service"

First, depending on whether it is an accessory or a service offer, open the respective module.

Selection of the customer or the vehicle

If a customer file is created in the DMS, you can search for the customer by entering his name (upper field: "Customer") of his license plate (middle field "License plate") or his chassis number (lower field "VIN"). One of the three entries is already sufficient to start the search by pressing the ENTER key or by clicking on the green field. The corresponding vehicle can be selected in the opening "Search results" window.
If you have selected a customer, you can delete all entries by clicking on the red box with the cross.

BVM filtering

When selecting a vehicle with a valid chassis number, the program provides an interface query to the BVM ("Base Véhicule Monde", in English "Worldwide vehicle database"). On the basis of the detailed information of the vehicle supplied by the BVM (year of construction, phase etc.), an optimal filtering of the result list is possible.

For a customer-independent search for a package, select the corresponding brand in the "Select - Brand" selection.
After selecting a mark, another field appears in which the vehicle model is to be selected.
After selecting a vehicle, additional fields (TAPV, fuel, engine type, power, displacement, variant) appear, in which the vehicle can be specified. If you select the vehicle type in the "TAPV" field, the further details are automatically added.
The selection of the TAPV or the further information is necessary so that the appropriate packages can be displayed later.

Offers without the specification of a customer can not be saved!

If you would like to create an offer for a customer who is not created in the DMS, you can add new customer profiles to MPO internally via "Menu"> "Customers". For customers with an MPO internal profile, you can create and save quotes, but if the order is made, a customer file must be created in the DMS.

Choosing the package

Open the list of categories by clicking on the "Categories" field. By clicking on a category further subcategories will open.

Custom Offers

In the sub-category "- Own offers -" you will find the offers you have added. For information on how to create your own offers, please refer to Adding and changing your own offers (accessories) or Adding and changing your own offers (service).

If a subcategory has been selected, the different packages will appear on the right side. In addition to the prizes, there are up to five additional fields:

Clicking on the "Product info" field will show or hide additional information about the package in the "Description" column.

When clicking on the field "additional work" a window will appear, where further work related to the selected work can be added.

The detailed view shows more detailed information about the required parts as well as the composition of the package price. If a Motrio package is available, you can choose between "Details-Original" and "Details-Motrio" in the window above.

An offer with the selected package is created via the shopping cart symbol. If there is already another package in the shopping cart, the chosen package will be added to the offer. (See Creating an Offer)

ISometimes different colors are displayed for the same package:

  • The price shown in black indicates the normal price, which is based on the hourly rates, discounts and service parts stored.

  • The price highlighted in orange indicates the Motrio or ValueAdvantageParts price, which is calculated on the same principle as the standard price but includes the use of Motrio parts or ValueAdvantage parts.
  • The green deposited price is a campaign price.
  • The price shown in red indicates a fixed price, as determined by you via the tool of the individual fixed prices. To determine fixed prices, please read the explanations on the fixed price module.
  • The pink price indicates the fixed price motrio that you can set accordingly for the use of Motrio parts.

Creating an offer

To create the offer, click on the corresponding price field. The shopping cart symbol will be highlighted in blue and the package has been added to the shopping cart. Alternatively to clicking on the price, you can click on the cart icon and select the appropriate price to add the package to the offer
By clicking again on the shopping cart symbol or by clicking on the price field again, the package will be removed from the shopping cart.
You can add as many packages as you like to a proposal by repeating the step.

The bar in the lower left corner of the page is used to manage the offer. The bar consists of four fields:

The shopping cart field shows the price of the offer. By clicking on the field a more detailed indication of the composition of the shopping cart opens. When the offer is saved, the number of the offer is displayed in this field.

By clicking on the Save field, the current offer for the selected customer is saved. Saving is only possible if a customer is selected. If you have saved an offer, another one will appear next to the field which serves to update the offer.

By clicking on the detail view field you can see more detailed information about the offer as well as transfer the offer to the DMS. More about this under the next item "Completion of an offer".

By clicking on the "Print" field, a PDF file is generated, which you can then download, forward by e-mail or print out.

Clicking on the "Delete" field deletes the entire offer, not just the last one added. Deleted offers can be restored under "Menu"> "Recycle Bin".

More possible actions

The detail view, which can be accessed in the bar in the lower left corner, opens a menu with further possible actions:

Under "Details" a detailed listing of the composition of the offer can be viewed. The check mark must be placed in front of the package so that it is included in the calculation.

Under "Potentials" possible packages and comments tailored to the individual customer are displayed, which can also be viewed under the module Service Advisor.
Under "Appointments" information can be made about the implementation of the service offer. The "Appointments" tab only appears after the offer has been saved.
Here the required parts can be transferred directly to the shopping cart of

Under "customer" the customer data are visible. If you would like to create an offer for a customer that does not exist in the DMS, you can enter the data for the customer internally at MPO. The customer file is not transferred to the DMS! So it is sufficient to create an offer, but if it comes to the order, a customer file must be created in the DMS.

Under "vehicle" the vehicle data are visible.

To close the menu again, either click on the cross in the upper right corner or in the darkened area of the page outside the opened menu.

Completing an offer

The bar to complete an offer can be found at the bottom of the tab of the menu just described.

By c

Clicking on the arrow ("Transfer to DMS") will transfer the order to the DMS. The order number is obtained from the DMS. If the order has been created on the DMS, an additional field with an update arrow appears next to the field of the order number with which the order can be loaded by the DMS.

The sync status indicates whether changes in the shopping cart are automatically synchronized with the DMS. If the display of the sync status is green, changes are automatically synchronized without the order having to be transferred by clicking on the "Transfer to DMS" field. If the display is red, changes must be made manually, i. by clicking on the arrow, be passed.

The "MPO" field displays the (MPO internal) offer number.

With the reset button you can reset the offer to the status of the last save.

Granting discounts and surcharges

In order to grant rebates or surcharges, please make sure that the "Details" tab is activated in the header of the menu, and the field "Revenue control" is activated in the footer bar. If you only want to grant the discount or surcharge on a specific part, activate the "Details" field (symbol: Eye) in the footer.

Select the appropriate line to grant the discount or premium:

  • to a specific part (respective line of the part in the white filed area)
  • on all parts (line "parts" in gray background)
  • on the working time (line "working time" in the gray area)
  • on the total (net) price of the offer (line "Subtotal" in the gray area)

The discount or surcharge always refers to the net price! The VAT and any applicable national fees will be added afterwards. The total gross price is displayed at the end of the list in the dark gray "Complete price" line.

You can grant the discount or premium in percentage or absolute terms:

In the left-hand column, enter a percentage value that is added or subtracted from the respective price. Enter, e.g. "10", the original price is increased by 10%

In the right-hand column you enter an absolute amount, which is added to or deducted from the respective price. Enter, e.g. "-20", the original price will be reduced by 20 €.

If you make an entry in one of the two columns, the corresponding value in the other line is automatically added. In the "Revenue" and "Total" columns, you can see how the discount entered affects the revenue or price.

Entered values without pre-sign cause a surcharge on the price.
To get a discount, i. a benefit to grant, please put a minus sign in front of the value.
